For example, you would not make it overly exciting if you are writing a love poem, because a love poem is to describe your feelings, dreams or hopes. It can be softer, more flowing, dreamy and exciting in a romantic way. Try and do creative writing in every category of poems until you find which one you like best. You will know immediately as it will be the easiest one to write, you will feel like your pen is just writing on the paper with such ease.
